The article “Societies against and in the State”, written by Andrey Cordeiro Ferreira develops an anarchist-decolonial theory of indigenous history and stateless societies. His Starting point it was the experience of the indigenous peoples of South America and Brazil. He shows us the relations and the role of the stateless and state societies in the Colonial State building process and of modern world, as well as the consequences of these processes for the struggles for autonomy in today’s world.
